Tampa Bay Times features web production

In addition to my breaking news role at the Tampa Bay Times in 2016, I also created interactives to accompany written feature and enterprise stories.

Tampa Bay Hometeam 100

Managed web design on a newsroom sports project that featured a countdown of the best local high school football players.

I coordinated this joint endeavor with staff sports writers, photographers, editors and social media experts at the Times.

As project manager, not only did I plan, gather information, design and produce the 11 separate web pages (created with JSON data plugged into lede.js templates), I was also responsible for the social media promotion of the project.

Farm to Fable

Served as co-producer for Farm to Fable, an investigation by food critic Laura Reiley into the local restaurant industry.

As editing neared an end, I was invited to start assessing where we could insert the visual elements that photographers and illustrators had created for the story. As I built out the story, I was working with multiple drafts of copy and illustrations, and coordinating with editors and designers for the perfect roll out for this important investigation.
